THE ROBERTS
The Roberts wedding this summer was such a gift to be part of. I stepped into the day as a second photographer, which allowed me to slow down, observe quietly, and capture moments unfolding on the edges — the kind of candid, tender glimpses that often carry the most meaning. I’d been wanting to experiment more intentionally with a film-inspired aesthetic, and this wedding felt like the perfect place to lean into that softer, nostalgic look: warm tones, gentle grain, and colors that feel like memory.
There was a sweetness to photographing the day from a supporting place — noticing the in-between moments, the small gestures, the way joy moves through a room when no one is watching. Editing these images in a film aesthetic felt like honoring the simplicity and sincerity of the day itself. I’m grateful for the opportunity to experiment, to learn, and to witness a celebration filled with so much love.
